With Colin Munn's help, I finally have managed to find a suitable time to get the PALS presentation scheduled. I think that I will still travel down to the ferry terminal for both cohorts and give them yet another little pep talk.
After going down to the ferry terminal prior to the MBCE and MBO field course departure to Roscoff, I became aware that probably at least 1/3 of the students had decided to skip Dan Merrifield's lecture the day that Carolyn came in to present on PALS. Hmmm... still though, lots of student interest when I talked to them in 3 largish groups whilst at the ferry terminal.
